Personal poem- The Museum, puzzle of immortal ideas

The museum

Does not give me knowledge:

                   It houses pieces.

                                 I solve the puzzle.

A new perspective on the riddles of life

Hinted at through petty objects

Which together lead us

                     to the immortal,

                                  to the idea.

Yet you run after the beautiful,

                                     the stunning,

                                     the famous

Which has to be seen. (?)

Does seeing imply…

                           understanding?

And the idea?

-left in the attic

of our mental Empires,

unexplored.
